Introducing Catherine

Catherine joined Flint Bishop in September 2025 as a Senior Associate and forms part of our Ecclesiastical Department, based in our Leeds office.

She advises a wide range of ecclesiastical clients, including dioceses, parishes, clergy and church-related organisations, on property, governance and regulatory matters. Her work focuses on supporting clients through complex and sensitive legal processes, including faculty jurisdiction, church property transactions and pastoral reorganisation.

Catherine is known for her approachable and supportive manner, ensuring clients feel confident, well informed and fully supported throughout each stage of their matter.

Having qualified in 2014, Catherine has developed extensive experience in property-related legal matters, with a strong focus on advising clients in sensitive and highly regulated environments.

Her experience includes advising on complex property transactions, governance considerations and matters involving charitable and ecclesiastical property interests. She has particular expertise in matters requiring careful stakeholder management, attention to regulatory requirements and a pragmatic approach to achieving practical outcomes.
